- Technical Requirements:
- 4+ Years hands-on Linux administration experience in fast paced commercial environment
- Should have good experience in Installing, configuring and maintaining AIX and Linux Servers
- Experience in Virtualization
- Strong in Power 5/6/7 Pseries configuration, LPAR, WPAR, DLPAR, VIO concepts and implementation
- Strong understanding of files systems, concepts, and logical volume management of AIX
- Patch and Package administration for Aix/Linux
- Comprehensive understanding of Network Installation manager
- Linux installation, OS Hardening, Volume Manager administration
- Full and in-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux based network protocols
- Strong understanding of SAN and NAS storage
- Strong Kshell scripting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Willing to work in 24x7 support
