Job Summary:

Provide and oversee the day to day operational support for the Unix/Linux environment in all the data center locations. Ensure all AIX/Linux systems maintain correct configurations. Monitor the performance of installed technologies, performing required maintenance and upgrades as appropriate.Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for our installed technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability With Technical Requirements:

    • 3+ Years hands-on Unix/Linux administration experience in fast paced commercial environment
    • Should have good exp and knowledge in Installing, configuring and maintaining AIX and Linux Servers
    • Experience in Virtualization
      Strong in Power 5/6/7 Pseries configuration, LPAR, WPAR, DLPAR, VIO concepts and implementation
    • Strong understanding of files systems, concepts, and logical volume management of AIX
    • Patch and Package administration for Aix/Linux
    • Comprehensive understanding of Network Installation manager
    • Linux installation,OS Hardening,Volume Manager administration
    • Good understanding of operating system and performance tuning
    • Full and in-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux based network protocols
    • Strong understanding of SAN and NAS storage
    • Strong in troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
    • Strong Kshell scripting skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Must be team player, willing to work in 24x7 support
